The Scottsbluff United Methodist Church was organized in November of 1901. There were 17 original members (today there are more than 700 members). Services, meetings, and groups were conducted in rental buildings or homes around town. FUMC is well known for its choir programs, Kids First Preschool & Child Care center, mission ministries, and several outreach ministries.

FUMC is located at the corners of 20th Street and 4th Avenue in Scottsbluff, across from Centennial Park.
