Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.  (Proverbs 22:6)

Children’s enthusiastic expressions of faith can help transform the church and everyone in it.  Our hope is to partner with families to help guide the spiritual growth of our young ones.  To teach them of God’s love and his promises and to build on their desire to actively live and love as Jesus has taught us.

Leadership Opportunities     for Youth

Please be praying about possibly becoming a leader for our Youth beginning in the Fall. We meet from 6-7 pm every Wednesday night. We try to have 2 teachers for each group so if one leader is out of town or unavailable the other leader can take over. We have many positions available to work with the youth, so if you are interested and not sure how or where might be a good fit, please contact Missi at 225-2527 or miasillo@aol.com and we will definitely find a place for you.

Confirmation is a two year program open to persons 6th and older who would like to explore becoming a professing Christian and a member of our church.

Confirmation is not the beginning or the end of the faith journey.

Confirmation is about an individual coming to the decision to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, and make the commitment to be the body of Christ, lived out by his/her prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness. It is a life-changing commitment that leads to transformation of heart and life.

To assist us we will be using the curriculum called The Absolute Basics of the Christian Faith and The Absolute Basics of the Wesleyan Way. The program will be led by Pastor Craig Collins, Bob and Marilyn Betancur. We will meet each Wednesday from 6 to 7 pm.

The Absolute Basics is a confirmation program that in not your conventional classroom experience! The First session, The Absolute Basics of the Christian Faith, will be utilized in one year, where The Absolute Basics of the Wesleyan Way will be utilized the next.
